Little Furry Bundles of Joy

Guinea Pigs are small, sociable and chatty rodents, with a compact, rounded body shape, short legs and no tail. However, there are different breeds and varieties of guinea pigs, with varying colours and coat lengths. Although guinea pigs are traditionally thought of as good first pets for children, it should always be an adult who takes responsibility that they are properly handled and cared for. Typically, they live for 5-6 years, though some may live longer.
